Kathryn Coulter Mitchell founded The Coulter Mitchell Group after decades of federal service and senior leadership, including as Acting Under Secretary for Science and Technology at the Department of Homeland Security and Chief of Staff for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. She also brings 15 years of experience in government, on Capitol Hill and in the private sector — a rare, 360-degree view of how national-security and government decisions actually get made and implemented. Kathryn built the firm's team and advisory network around that same standard of judgment, so clients get a partner who has been inside the institutions they're trying to understand, not just studied them from outside.
